The luxury choice bursting with some seriously decacent minis, it is beautifully edited and this calander inculdes some of the skins greatest products (Kiehl's Creme de corps, Sisley 30 minute facial to name a few) This is for the beauty connoisseur who needs impressing

This is £149 which is on the higher end of the market

 

 

 

3 Tesco Beauty Advent Calander

A first for the Supermarket chain, Tesco has gone around its stores and picked out some favourites (inculding Katy Perry, Nip+Fab, Tanya Burr) shrunk them down and stuck them behind 24 secret doors

This is £50 but again the vaule equals much more

 

 

 

 

4 Ciate Mini Mani Manicure Manor Nail Polish Calender

Year on year Ciate excels itself with its Christmas offerings, as shown by this calander, full of 24 mini nail colours including its most popular shades (Mistressm Cupcake Queen and Amazing Gracie) You'll also find five textured polishes, and a set of festive nail transfers

This is £49 and can be found in Selfridges

 

 

 

5 No7 Beauty Calander

The beauty bonus here is that for £35 you'll get £130 worth of No7 goodies. So if you like the range, you'll love this on the run up to Christmas with a budget beauty line-up of Radiance Exfoliator, Stay Perfect Duo Nail Colour and many more items.

This is at the low cost of £35 totally worth the money

 

 

 

 

6 Benefit Advent Calander

This is one of my favourite calanders and getting hold of one is tricky as they are much loved and sell very quickly, but I have seen some in some of the benefit stores still. Look away now if you do not want to know what is inside as my sister opened mine up (I wasn't happy)

This is a bit more expensive at £60 but worth the money

 

 

7 Jo Malone Advent Calander

What better way to start your day han a bit of pampering with one of Jo Malone's minis As the price suggets this is utter decadence for December by the way of Malone's well-known and most loved, bath oils, body creams and perfume.

This is a staggering £250 from Harrods  

 

 

 

 

8 L'Occitance 13 Desserts of Christmas

Don't be put of by the odd name, this offering from the French beauty brand is inspired by the provencal tradition of serving as many desserts as you can stomach between christmas eve and December 27.

This is £45 which isn't too bad but you only get 13 items

  

 

 

9 The Body Shop Beauty Calender

For anyone who has queued for the Body Shop Christmas Gift baskets back in the day, this is a real trip down memory lane with 24 days of goodies inculding its Frosted Cranberry Heart Soap and Almond Hand Cream.

This is a little pricy at £50 but I adore all of it

Review - Burts Bees Lip Balms

As you can probably tell this post will be a little review.

My review today will be on one of my all time favorite lip balms the Burts Bees Lip Balm these have been a staple in my handbag and make up bag for as long as I can remember

If there is one place I prefer natural products its on my lips, because I find that although artificial ones work they end up causing my lips to react but not so with burts bees. Plus this balm has the added bonus of a cooling mint sensation, lovely for the warm environments and summer time. This balm soothes sore chapped lips to leave them soft and supple. I also like to apply this just before I go to bed as by morning my lips are still smooth. I started using this straight away and I noticed my lips became more soft. 

This particular flavor in the lip balm range comes i either a little pot or in stick form and I went for the stick as I personally don't like having to use my fingers to apply it. Although it is a bit more expensive than other balms in my opinion it is well worth it. I have never had any problems with this balm. The packaging is quite distinctive - all yellow, with a honeycomb design and red text, and bees of course.

The label claims it is Soothing, cooling and refreshing and I have to totally agree with all three. When you first apply it your lips will go cool and tingly and this in not a unpleasant sensation. It smells amazing also.

Over all this is a amazing little lip balm and I would recommend it to anyone.

Motivational Monday #9

 

This post means a lot to me. Everyday used to be a struggle for me from School to Work. I neither liked school or work but everyone has to do it. But everything I have learnt over the past 27 years (that seems like a lot of years) has helped in what I do today and which I will achieve tomorrow and for the rest of my life everything I have been though makes me stronger for what will happen in the future.

So what I am saying is don’t give up if it’s a struggle power through it and you will get through it everyone had bad periods in their life make the one you have a learning curve.
